A Ferrari-centric DLC for Project CARS 2 has been leaked, via a trailer on the title’s Xbox Games Store listing.

As confirmed in the pack’s trailer on the storefront, eight Ferrari cars will be contained in the upcoming DLC, covering almost six decades of the iconic brand’s prolific history.

The Ferrari brand has been a core addition to Project Cars 2.

Befitting Project CARS 2’s more motorsports-centric remit, a majority of the car content consists of Ferraris that are either exclusive to or forged their reputation on the track. Ferrari’s fabled 250 range is represented by the DLC by the 250 GT Berlinetta and 250 Testa Rossa, with the Ferrari 355 Challenge one-make racer and 512 BB LM also being featured.

Two tracks associated with the iconic car brand will be included in the Ferrari Essentials Pack too. Complementing the Ferrari-owned Mugello circuit will be the firm’s Fiorano test track – the first time the notable venue has been featured in a racing game since 2012’s Test Drive: Ferrari Racing Legends.

As with prior Project CARS 2 DLC’s, it’s expected an array of singleplayer events will be added to the game, to complement the Ferrari content.

The full car list of Project CARS 2’s Ferrari Essentials Pack can be found below:

  • Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta

  • Ferrari 458 Speciale Aperta
  • Ferrari 512 BB LM

Official details and pricing information on the upcoming Project CARS 2 DLC are anticipated to be disclosed shortly.

After 3 months another DLC pack finally appears. I don’t know if the sales of pC2 have been terrible or this was the strategy from day one however the post-release updates have really slowed.
