News Porsche 911 RSR set to join iRacing in June 2018

The Porsche 911 RSR GT racing car will be added to iRacing soon, as part of the PC sim's June 2018 season build.
Porsche's premier 911-derived competition car, the Porsche 911 RSR will be the third Porsche to appear in iRacing – with the Le Mans-winning Porsche 919 LMP1 and the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup one-make racer already being available in the subscription-based title.
Though the Porsche 911 RSR will be added to iRacing before the title's prominent Spa and Le Mans endurance races in July and October respectively, it remains to be seen whether the car will be eligible for these events.
In addition to the Porsche 911 RSR, iRacing's June 2018 build will also introduce additional content and features to the title. For example, the Belle Isle Park street circuit (which hosts rounds of the IndyCar and IMSA sports car series) will also be added to iRacing via the forthcoming update.
