News Our initial impressions of Project CARS with the HTC Vive VR headset

We strap on the HTC Vive headset and jump into some Project CARS action. The virtual reality experience in Project CARS tested our hardware and we actually had to drop the resolution in order to run the software.
We tested several cars and some felt better than others, the field of view seemed to be a little off for example in some of the Le Mans racers, the karts however felt fantastic. Unfortunately watching a video simply does not and never will do virtual reality any justice, you really need to strap on the headset yourself and experience it first hand to understand just how exciting VR technology is.
