Slightly Mad Studios have recently announced that the racing car driver Nicolas Hamilton will continue his role as Handling Consultant for the dev team as they now focus on developing their Project CARS 2 racing title.

Hamilton will once again be assisting Slightly Mad Studios with his valuable feedback on car handling, and no doubt his knowledge and experience will be priceless to the development team. Hamilton commented on his role within the Project CARS team:

"I am mega excited to be to be a part of the Development Team at Slightly Mad Studios for Project CARS 2. When I first joined SMS back in 2012, it was an absolute dream come true to work on Project CARS 1, which was a great success and an amazing experience for me. To be a part another fantastic project yet again is just something I always dreamed of and I hope we, as a team, can deliver another fantastic product.”

Nicolas Hamilton was born with Cerebral Palsy, but it hasn't stopped him from pursuing his passion for racing. He was brought up in the motorsports world alongside older brother Lewis (you may have heard of him). After competing in the Renault Clio Cup, he moved up to the European Touring Car Cup in 2013 and this year he is competing in the very prestigious British Touring Car Championship.

Project CARS 2 was announced last month and received a mixed reception, the title, just like its predecessor, will be crowd-funded. Slightly Mad Studios are currently aiming to have over 200 cars which include new disciplines such as Rallycross, Concepts and even banned race cars from yesteryear. New features will include Co-op Career, Online Track Days and Broadcast eSports.
