News Next Car Game – Chaotic Cockpit Camera Race Gameplay

I'll admit it: I am hopeless addicted to Next Car Game. Its brand of destructive no rules racing is right up my street in direct contrast to the po-faced serious sims. It's just a shame that, in its early pre-alpha phase, there is very little variety in terms of available cars and tracks.

So, to keep things fresh, I thought I'd set myself a challenge: can I survive a whole race in one piece using the cockpit camera? As we know, your racing rivals in Next Car Game are an utterly merciless bunch, with aggressive AI that will stop at nothing to shunt you off the track at every opportunity, resulting in carnage around every corner. Trying to fend them off with the restrictive cockpit camera was not going to be easy.

Miraculously, I managed to nurse my car to the finish line despite its less-than-roadworthy state by the end of the chaotic race.

personally, I prefer to drive with the external view in this particular game purely because you can see everything going on around you, which is vital when every other driver is trying to spin you out. Still, seeing the mass carnage unfold through the eyes of the driver was an undeniably visceral experience, and it should only improve once BugBear add the camera-shaking helmet view.
