Rally game fanatics will soon get their fix this year because V-Rally 4, the first game in the series to be released in over 15 years, is just around the corner. Ahead of its release in September, Kylotonn Racing and BigBen Games have released a new V-Rally 4 trailer showcasing two key disciplines: Rally and Hillclimb.
The video captures the intensity of V-Rally 4’s hillclimbs, as you’ll be climbing gruelling mountain courses and narrowly avoiding cliff edges in 1,000-hp cars specifically designed to tackle these challenging stages. If WRC 7‘s stages are anything to go by, we should be in for a nail-biting ride.
While WRC 7’s car selection was obviously restricted by the license and could only include current WRC cars, V-Rally 4 will feature an assortment of classic and contemporary rally cars. Among the cars featured in the trailer include a Porsche 911 SC Safari, Lancia Delta, and a BMW M3 E30.
Extreme-Khana: here you must master drifting as you combine speed and precision in trap-packed courses.
V-Rally Cross: confront seven opponents who are hell-bent on making you bite the dust on dirt/asphalt tracks.
Buggy: your all-terrain vehicle promises to be a unique experience on these particularly rugged tracks.
We also recently tackled V-Rally 4’s China Hillclimb, which you can see in action in our preview gameplay video below.
V-Rally 4 will be released on PS4, Xbox One and PC before arriving on Nintendo Switch at a later date.
