Codemasters has today released a new gameplay trailer for their arcade crash-fest racer Onrush ahead of its PlayStation 4 and Xbox One release on June 5.
Once again, the trailer gives us an up close and personal look at the fast-paced nature of the title complete with several vehicle classes performing jumps and generally wreaking havoc, take a look below.
Onrush is looking to carve out its own identity in the racing genre by focusing the action on objective-based gameplay rather than adopt the usual first to the finish line mantra. This should provide an experience which should keep players in the thick of the action regardless of their position.
Eight vehicle classes feature in Onrush, naturally, each has its own unique style, handling and advantages which include the vehicle's personal RUSH “state”. Players can build up their RUSH boost during events and utilise it to perform eye-watering takedowns.
Onrush is available to pre-order now, besides the standard edition, players can opt for the Deluxe Edition which bundles eight additional vehicle designs with gold and black liveries, extra "Crashtag" artwork, and Track Tombstones all exclusive to the Deluxe Edition.
As an added bonus, players who pre-order Onrush on PlayStation 4 will get early access to the beta before it on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One some time in May.
