Two new officially licensed Mario Kart racing wheels are now available to pre-order in Japan ahead of their November 30 release in the same region.

Manufactured by Hori, the two wheels are currently available to pre-order on PlayAsia for £63.73 and £114.88 respectively as seen below:

The wheels only work in docked mode although seemingly thanks to an extra USB part they will work with the Switch Lite.

The first racing wheel (featured in the gallery above) is aimed at children with its small 220mm diameter size. Besides an “item” button and “item hold” button, the wheel also sports a “button assign” function enabling players to customise their button layout to their wishes which is a very handy feature indeed.

The DX Edition wheel is very much aimed at an older audience with its larger 280mm diameter size and more mature aesthetic. The DX Edition wheel features 180 and 270 degrees steering angle modes as well as the “button assign” function. In addition, the racing wheel has a clamp and suction cups so it can be fixed in position. You can check out the DX Edition Mario Kart wheel in the gallery below.

Currently, we have no dates on when these wheels will be coming to Europe, but we’ll bring you more as soon as we know more.
