Project CARS seems to be going from strength to strength at the moment. The beta is constantly being updated as new patches and features are implemented for the testers to try out, and recently the crew at Slightly Mad Studios announced they have raised over a million Euros from investing members.

And the latest bit of news to make its way from the London-based game developer is that it’s

As part of this deal, the title will be able to include 11 of the most noteworthy classic and modern motors from the American giant’s impressive car roster. Such vehicles include NASCAR and touring cars, along with a GT40 and old and new iterations of the Shelby Mustang.

Here’s the full official list in a bit more detail:

.1966 Mustang 2+2 fastback (a fancy way of saying "Shelby GT350")

.1972 Escort RS1600

.1980 Capri (Group 5 – Team Zakspeed)

. 1988 Sierra RS500 Cosworth (Group A)

.1997 Mustang Cobra (SCCA Trans-Am)

.2012 Fusion NASCAR Stock Car

.2012 Focus ST (BTCC)

.2013 Falcon FG (Australian V8 Supercar Car of the Future)

.2013 Shelby Mustang GT500

And the best bit? Each of these cars will be added one-by-one into the beta, with the WMD (World of Mass Development) members having the privilege of taking these magnificent machines for a spin before anyone else.

No official dates have been declared as to when these new fast Fords will make their respective Project CARS debuts, but it’s safe to say we’re hotly anticipating their arrival, and we’ll definitely be covering it as soon as they appear on the beta.
