A plethora of new tracks and cars have been confirmed for Assetto Corsa by developer Kunos Simulazioni.

Leading the new content is perhaps the confirmation that Kunos have signed a license agreement to bring a laser-scanned version of the Redbull Ring a.k.a. The “A1 Ring” to Assetto Corsa. The Italian development team have also confirmed they are busy working on an historic version of Silverstone as well as a 10km and junior versions of Monza. Kunos have also hinted at the possibility of additional tracks to come sometime during 2016.

Furthermore, Kunos have confirmed they are working on bringing at least 42 new cars to the simulation and welcomes Maserati Automobili to the ever-growing roster. Other additions include a selection of Audi cars, the R8 Ultra 2016, R18 E-Tron, TT VLN 2014, TT CUP 2015, A1 S1, Sport quattro S1 E2 and TT 2015 all confirmed.

Japanese cars will also be the focus for next year with fan favourites such as the Toyota Celica, Toyota Supra, Toyota AE86, Toyota TS040 Hybrid, Nissan GT-R R34 Skyline and Nissan Nismo 2015 all making their debut in 2016. Kunos have confirmed more Alfa Romeo and Ferrari models will also be coming next year although no specifics have yet been shared.

There will also be a couple of McLaren cars in the shape of the 570LS and P1 GTR, another new entry for Assetto Corsa is the R1 R from Praga Cars (pictured above). Finally, Kunos are working on completing development of the Corvette C7 Stingray and Ford Mustang 2015 which will both feature as bonus content in early 2016.
