Kunos Simulazioni has pulled the wraps off all the new content that'll be added to the Assetto Corsa open beta in the upcoming update patch.

Headlining the inaugural update for the PC racing sim are a batch of three extreme, stripped out track cars that were leaked a short while ago: the Pagani Zonda R, the Lotus 2-Eleven and Jim Glickenhaus' personal P4/5 Competizione endurance racing car.

On top of the trio of cars, the patch also adds two new tracks to Assetto Corsa, in the form of the fabled Ferrari-owned MotoGP venue that is the Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello, and what Kunos has called the "Drift Circuit". No prizes for guessing what the latter of the duo is best suited for…

Rounding up the new features is a new location to Assetto Corsa's ForzaVista-esque 'Showroom Mode', dubbed by its Italian makers as the Industrial Showroom and using what appears to be a manufacturing complex of sorts as a backdrop to admire the game's beautifully detailed car models in their full virtual glory.

The update containing all of this new content for Assetto Corsa should be made available to download tomorrow (Friday 23rd November).
