Need for Speed's Showcase update includes photomode, wrap sharing and more

Need for Speed is set to get its next major update on February 3. Entitled the “Showcase” update, it will see the addition of a photomode, online wrap sharing, 100+ new customisation items, three new achievements/trophies and more. We run through all of the updates below.

The new photomode, known as Snapshot Pro , can be accessed through the game's mobile phone menu by hitting start in game. The new feature will enable users to spin the camera around their car and of course apply a number of effects such as depth of field, brightness, contrast, vignette and saturation as well as a selection of pre-set filters for those who want a decent shot in a hurry.

Wrap sharing has been one of the most popular requested features from Need for Speed fans and so its arrival in this latest update should come as great news for the fanbase. Sharing your wraps can be done through a new option found within the Paint and Wrap section and will enable you to browse and download a plethora of wraps shared by other Need for Speed players. To share your own wraps you'll just simply need to mark your creation as shareable for others to view and download it.

The Showcase update will also add another 100+ items of customisation which will benefit the following eleven cars:

Chevrolet Camaro Z28
BMW M3 E92
Ford Mustang Boss 302
Ford Mustang Foxbody
Ford Mustang GT
Mazda MX5 (2015)
NISSAN 180sx Type X
NISSAN Silvia Spec-R

SUBARU Impreza WRX

Finally, three new achievements/trophies have also been added which can be seen below:

Filter Addict – Take a Snapshot with a Filter in Snapshot Pro Mode
Wrap Artist – Share a Wrap with the Need for Speed Community
Climbing the Ranks – Reach Monthly Rank 10 by completing Daily Challenges

Drive through a Gas Station and repair your car on the fly.

A variety of tweaks and improvements including AI, player feedback, Gameplay and World

Fixed a couple of bugs for Eddie's challenge
