EA recently announced their next Need for Speed game, developed by Ghost Games, which is said to be a reboot of the long-running series.
It promises to have “deep customisation” and an “immersive narrative” which helps to drive the game onwards. EA also say the game has an open-world and takes place at night.
Along with the announcement we of course had a teaser trailer to get our teeth into, we got to see some of game's cars (including a classic Porsche 911) being chased by the police at night to the backdrop of the amazing looking city skyline. Their were also some screenshots released by EA which showcased some of the parts you'll be able to customise such as body kits, neon lights, exhausts and spoilers.
We expect to see a lot more of this new Need for Speed reboot at this year's E3 in just over three weeks time, so there's not long to wait thankfully. Need for Speed is expected to release on Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC this Autumn.
Alan runs through the new Need for Speed teaser trailer and gives us his personal thoughts below.
