Need for Speed is a game that divides people, you probably either love the handling or hate it. With such varying tastes Electronic Arts (EA) are trying hard to appeal to a broader spectrum of racing game fans by introducing a wealth of handling options so that players can effectively create their own handling model.
The most fundamental of these handling options is the drift or grip settings, the former will suit those who love to get sideways at every turn such has been the case with recent Need for Speed titles. Perhaps you prefer the more realistic grippier approach? well if that's you simply set the handling to grip. If you are somewhere in between the two EA assure us that you can enjoy a setting “somewhere in the middle”, all of this is done by the use of a simple slider, pretty impressive really.
Rest assured though, those who want to tinker with their handling setup in detail have certainly not been left out, let's take a look at the handling options on offer below which are taken directly from the official Need for Speed website.
