Electronic Arts have confirmed that the Need for Speed reboot has gone gold (at least for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One consoles anyway).
The news was confirmed through the official Twitter page thus:

Going gold means that the developer, in this case Ghost Games, have finished developing the game and are now preparing the game for its release, which is handy really considering it's due to launch in just over a week's time!
Ghost Games will now be expected to focus their efforts on DLC for Need for Speed which, according to an earlier announcement, will be free as there are no plans for paid DLC or micro-transactions.
Need for Speed will release for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One consoles on November 3 with a PC version to follow in 2016.
