Milestone has announced that MXGP will get yet another sequel and its coming sooner than you may have anticipated. MXGP 3 will release this Spring and will be available across the PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One platforms.
MXGP 3 is yet another entry in the official motorcross series and will be based on the 2016 season and powered by the Unreal Engine 4 graphics engine. MXGP 3 boasts dynamic weather conditions for the first time in the series and indeed in the genre.
Weather conditions vary from clear sunny days to the more challenging wet conditions due to heavy downpours of rain which of course influence the rider's visibility and the ground conditions. On the subject of ground conditions, Milestone has stated that dynamic ground deformation will feature in MXGP 3 which is something we felt MXGP 2 was lacking, even going backwards from the original title.
MXGP 3 will feature a career mode complete with a plethora of customisation options as found in Milestone games of late. The title features all the official MXGP and MX2 riders of 2016 along with all the official tracks including the MxoN which can be raced both online and offline.
We'll no doubt have more on MXGP 3 soon.
