News MXGP 2 PS4 preview: Test track, replay & photomode

We continue our MXGP 2 PlayStation 4 preview coverage with a look at the game's Test Track, Photomode and we also sample some replay footage.
The test track is an ideal place to practice your race craft , the area is very open and actually features two test circuits. Next to the stadium tracks the test track looks somewhat dull but then as this is a test track it was always going to look bland in comparison. I can't help but feel if the area wasn't as open it would look better.
The replay coverage has lots of angles covered: expect to see a GoPro-esque helmet camera and TV style camera viewpoints among others. The replay footage also gives us a great chance to view the bike and rider animations particularly on those lovely slow-motion shots.
When racing hitting pause will enable you to take a photo of the action, the photomode features basic tilt and zoom functions and you can get some great close-up shots which showcase the impressive detail seen on both bike and rider. Check out the MXGP 2 PlayStation 4 preview video below.
