Nordic Games and Rainbow Studios have announced that MX vs ATV Supercross Encore, originally released for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2014, will be making its way over to current generation consoles in the fourth quarter of 2015.
“Today, we’re happy to announce Supercross Encore is coming to the latest generation of consoles. The power of these new systems means: more detailed bikes, brand new gear with high res textures, other graphic improvements, as well as a higher frame rate for a more fluid feel. We’re excited to bring our newest instalment of MX vs. ATV to our fans,” said Ken George, Executive Producer at Rainbow Studios.
The new content for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One versions includes 12 outdoor national tracks from MX vs ATV Alive as well as 2 open world environments pinched from the very same title. This time around there will be a free ride mode which can be played both on your own or with friends. Also newly included is Waypoint races which task you to find the quickest route to reach all of the gates, this mode will use MX vs ATV Alive environments.
The game will feature update 2015 apparel all licensed from the top Motocross companies. Other new content includes 5 rhythm racing tracks where you drag race on straight Supercross tracks which are said to be filled with obstacles. The game will also feature updated rider models, bikes, track textures, re-mastered audio, smoother online play, a new tutorial section and a more intuitive user interface.
Expect MX vs ATV Supercross Encore to land on the Playstation 4 and Xbox One consoles in Q4 this year.
