Milestone have today announced a new release date for their upcoming two-wheeled racing title MotoGP 15. Don't panic though, MotoGP 15 will now launch on June 24, five days later than the original June 19 date, phew.
According to Milestone's Facebook page, the delay was decided upon to “improve the final quality of the game.” Milestone's last released game RIDE came under fire from fans when the game launched with a serious 'save game corruption' bug which meant you could only progress so far through the game's main World Tour career mode. We're hoping MotoGP 15 arrives without any major bugs and is a much smoother launch for Milestone, hopefully the extra time will be put to good use.
MotoGP 15 features over 20 bike models across the game's MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto 3 classes, and there's a total of 40 different liveries and colour schemes. The Day 1 Edition of MotoGP 15 will give you access to a range of historic 4 stroke bikes and riders, as well as 18 special historic events that feature the likes of Rossi, Biaggi, Stoner and more.
MotoGP 15 will release on June 24 for the Playstation 4, Xbox One, Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC platforms. Take a look at Team VVV's exclusive MotoGP 15 gameplay footage below.
Does this small delay bother you? Is there reason for concern?
