The latest offering in the long-running arcade style moto racing series has been released across the PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One platforms.
Moto Racer 4 is developed by Microïds and Artefacts Studio under the supervision of the original creator Paul Cuisset.
The action takes place on both asphalt and dirt with racing and motocross bikes respectively. Moto Racer 4 can be experienced in single player, split screen mode or in the online multiplayer mode for up to 10 players. The title boasts an incredible tally of 15 single and multiplayer game modes, motorbike and rider customisation, and runs at 60 frames per second.
Moto Racer 4 is also the very first bike game that you can experience in PSVR, although currently the experience is limited to the time trial and hot laps modes so sadly you wont have anybody to racer against besides yourself. However the good news is that the development team have confirmed that all game modes will be playable in VR in due course.
A Deluxe Edition is also available which includes the obligatory steelbook and season pass granting you access to three future DLC packs including an extra game mode. Each pack comes with a free customisation pack, the contents of which include a single rider, two additional bikes, two horns and one emblem.
We’ll be sharing our initial impressions of Moto Racer 4 in an upcoming video so stay tuned for that, and of course look out for our review coming shortly.
