With so many high profile releases vying for your attention the last few weeks such as WRC 6 and Ride 2, not to mention the likes of Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2, it would be easy to overlook the release of Monster Jam: Crush It! developed by Team6, the latest game in the long-running monster truck series which recently landed on PS4 and Xbox One.
Based on the real world Monster Jam championship that's popular in the US, Monster Jam: Crush It! features 24 officially licensed monster trucks including the world famous Grave Digger, Monster Mutt, Blue Thunder, and Zombie, plus six real world Monster Jam arenas and an impressive tally of 96 levels set across Stadium Race, Hillclimb Freestyle and Stunt game modes.
Monster Jam: Crush It! also features enhanced graphics powered by Unreal Engine 4 for its current-gen debut and a range of environments from polar, harbour, forest and desert settings.
Monster truck games seem to be a rarity now, especially in the UK where the sport isn't as popular, so it's good to see the Monster Jam series find an audience outside of the US. The last game in the series Monster Jam: Battlegrounds was released last year for PS3 and Xbox 360 in the US, but made its way onto the UK PlayStation store earlier this year.
