Milestone has revealed that free-to-download content for MotoGP '13 will be available for console players to download later today (Wednesday 3rd July).
Set to appear on the Xbox Live Marketplace and the Playstation Store at approximately 4pm British Summer Time, the new content will be available for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions, and will focus entirely on fleshing out the in-game Moto2 and Moto3 grids during single-player racers.
Avid MotoGP fans who acquired the title will have instantly noticed that many riders from the two motorbike racing tiers were absent from the game, so it's reassuring to know that this issue of sorts is being rectified.
We have no idea why Milestone didn't include them in the retail copies of the game, but we won't hound down the developers too long for an answer. After all, the DLC is free, and – as are the words of the studio itself – it "will complete" the MotoGP '13 game.
Milestone also confirmed it will release details on the DLC for the PC versions of the game "in the afternoon", so we'll notify you of the info and update this story as soon as we find out what's happening for the computer copy of MotoGP. Edit: Milestone has since confirmed the Moto2 and Moto3 DLC is now available for the PC verison.
