Milestone has revealed the first ever screenshots for its upcoming MotoGP '14 game, showcasing the visual effects and environmental detailing on offer in the flagship PS4 version.
Using the in-game depiction of the fabled Jerez circuit as a reference, Andrea Basillo (Milestone's Game Director) explained how a combination of a more powerful console and the studio's newly developed rendering engine means MotoGP '14 will be "more detailed" and visually authentic than any other game Milestone has created to date.
Given the PlayStation 4's architecture is highly similar to that of a personal computer, it's safe to assume at this stage that these featured screenshots are representative of what to expect from the PC version of MotoGP '14. It's currently unknown at this time how visually inferior the PS3, Xbox 360 and PSVita variations of the game are.
MotoGP '14 will be released sometime in June later this year, for the PC, PS4, PS3, PSVita and Xbox 360. According to Milestone, the game will feature all the officially licenced riders, manufacturers, circuits and racing tiers in this year's MotoGP series. The riders and bikes from the MotoGP 2013 season and "Champions from the Past" will also be featured in MotoGP '14.
