Codemasters has today revealed that their miniature racer Micro Machines World Series, available across the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 platforms, will be delayed to June 23, some two months later than expected.
To soften the blow, Codemasters has released the first official in-game screenshots which give us a good idea of the madness that awaits us including what we can only presume to be the “Battle Mode” in an enclosed arena environment.
Besides Battle Mode, the regular modes of race and elimination are included and the the Team Play mode enables you to work together with others in events such as King of the Hill and Capture the Flag. The miniature racer will support up to 12 players online and four players can play simultaneously via split-screen local multiplayer which never fails to be fun.
The game features 12 vehicles, and each have its own unique arsenal of weapons and abilities along with a range of customisation options. You can view the five newly released screenshots below.
