News Mazda 787B & MX-5 coming soon to Assetto Corsa PC for free

Assetto Corsa developer Kunos Simulazioni has announced that the Mazda 787B and Mazda MX-5 cars will be available soon for the PC version of the racing sim and for no charge.
The iconic Mazda 787B won the 24 hours of Le Mans back in 1991, and became the very first Japanese manufacturer to do so. The group C prototype monster produced 690 bhp and weighed just 845 kg making it the stuff of legend on the race track.
The first generation MX-5 is also an iconic car thanks to its simple configuration with a 1.6 or 1.8 litre engine powering the rear wheels. The car is very much a throw-back to 60's sports cars and although the 1.8 litre version only has 128 bhp, its more than enough to make you smile due its light weight and fun handling nature.
You can expect the two Mazda cars to be released on the PC as part of the upcoming v1.13 update. We'll bring you more on this, and the status of the console versions, as soon as we know more.
