Following on from the departure of Chris Evans after a paltry six episodes, it has now come to light that co-host Matt LeBlanc will now step up to solo host the very next series of Top Gear.

Matt LeBlanc solo host Top GearLeBlanc's new contract will supposedly see him earn a hefty £2 Million over the next 24 months according to The Sun. LeBlanc will once more be joined by Chris Harris and Rory Reid who will also continue as hosts on Extra Gear found on BBC Three.

Elsewhere Sabine Schmitz, Eddie Jordan and indeed “The Stig” will make regular appearances as before. Top will return to our screens next year, if you cannot wait until then why not check out "The Grand Tour" starring Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond. 

The first series of The Grand Tour will start on November 18 on Amazon Prime and consists of 12 episodes with a massive budget of £160 million, no really.
