Game: Mantis Burn Racing
Platform: PC, PS4, Switch, XBox One
Publisher: VooFoo Studios
Release Date: 05/07/2016
Indie developer VooFoo Studios has released their first major patch for Mantis Burn Racing on the PlayStation 4 which brings with it improvements to the online experience along with a new “Spotlight” multiplayer event.
The version 1.02 update, available now for the PlayStation 4 version, introduces a new lobby system which also grants players the opportunity to race with AI drivers online. The update also sees the inclusion of the new “Spotlight” multiplayer event which will see players racing on a single-screen online.
Whether or not it is too little too late remains to be seen as Mantis Burn Racing launched over a month ago with a multiplayer mode that was plagued with problems. Despite this however, we found the single player campaign was very satisfying and the title became one of our favourite indie titles of the year.
The patch weighs in at 316MB and you can view the full patch notes below. Let us now in the comments what you make of Mantis Burn Racing we’d love to hear your thoughts.
