Gran Turismo Sport has recently received its latest free update adding wet condition circuits, five iconic Japanese sports cars, and more.
That’s right, after many months of waiting, Gran Turismo Sport finally has some proper wet weather tracks, however, there is a big caveat. The new wet conditions tracks are currently limited to the ‘Red Bull Ring’ and ‘Red Bull Ring Short Track’ circuits.
We remain positive that more will be added over time, so let’s hope these first wet weather tracks open the flood gates (pun intended) for further rain-soaked tracks.
Remember when we mentioned five iconic Japanese sports cars? Well, you can see them all below which range from the much-loved AE86 to the more modern S2000.
- Honda S2000 ’99 (N200)
- Nissan Silvia K’s Dia Selection (S13) ’90 (N200)
- Toyota Corolla Levin 3door 1600GT APEX (AE86) ’83 (N100)
- Subaru Impreza Coupe WRX Type R STi Version VI ’99 (N300)
- Mitsubishi GTO Twin Turbo ’91 (N300)
Besides the new wet weather tracks and cars, this latest update has also added seven new rounds to the ever-expanding GT League mode.
Bucking recent trends, there are no brand new events added to the campaign, instead four existing events gain additional rounds as seen below.
■ Beginner League
2 new rounds added to the ‘Beetle & Samba Bus Festa’.
■ Amateur League
2 new rounds added to the ‘J-Sports Meeting’.
■ Professional League
2 new rounds added to the ‘All Japan GT Car Championships’.
■ Endurance League
1 new round added to the ‘Porsche Cup’.
Finally, Polyphony Digital has applied various other features, improvements and fixes in this update as usual.
