A brand new gameplay video has been released for arcade racer GRAVEL which showcases the title’s snowy weather conditions.
The video (above), clocking in at two minutes, gives us a look at the very wintery-looking Montebianco location, where we see the legendary Toyota Celica in action from the chase camera perspective.
Admittedly, this camera viewpoint is probably the least effective way of showcasing the various weather effects in action: it would’ve been great to see the snow kick up on the windscreen obscuring the viewpoint while the wipers try there best to clear the view.
Developer Milestone has stated that the work in progress gameplay comes from a “Wild Rush” event recorded on a PC and played on a standard gamepad.
GRAVEL Boasts 18 different exotic locations, four disciplines and over 200 events in the career mode. Group B rally cars, rallycross cars, even Porsche has also been confirmed for the racer which takes obvious cues from the likes of 90’s arcade racers such as Sega Rally.
We won’t have long to wait as GRAVEL is currently scheduled to launch on February 27 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC with a Switch version to follow. Why not take 30 minutes to listen to our initial impressions of the upcoming arcade racer in the video below.
