Assetto Corsa developer Kunos Simulazioni has hinted at a forthcoming major announcement for the Steam Early Access racing sim.
First stated on the title's official Facebook page, what Kunos is describing as an "important partnership" will be "unveiled in the next few days". It's currently unknown at this moment in time whether this is in relation to a licencing deal for a motorsports venue or car manufacturer, or something else entirely.
(function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = “//connect.facebook.net/en_GB/all.js#xfbml=1”; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs); }(document, ‘script’, ‘facebook-jssdk’));
The post also referenced the Kunos' recent visit to the Nurburgring Nordschliefe, further suggesting that development work on the in-game, laser-scanned version of this fabled racing circuit is now well underway.
