Koenigsegg's One:1 'megacar' will be driven in public for the first ever time at this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed.

As well as being a stationary staple of the Michelin-sponsored Supercar Paddock at Goodwood – itself one of the largest crowd drawers at the Festival of Speed – the Swedish supercar will also be making a timed run up the fabled Hill Climb route.

Whilst no one outside of Koenigsegg knows exactly what the One:1 is capable of, the facts do suggest the Swedish supercar has the potential to set a blisteringly fast time up the 1.16 mile strip of tarmac: not only does the car have 1,322bhp to play with, but the One:1 also comes with a 'Predictive Active Chassis' system, which uses GPS data to alter the vehicle's overall set-up to best suit the upcoming topography.

No details of when the 'Michelin Supercar Run' were disclosed in the official statement, suggesting the times will be accumulated over the of the Friday, Saturday and Sunday of this year's Festival of Speed.
