Trackmania Turbo, which originally released for the Nintendo DS back in 2011, will be speeding its way onto the Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC.
The game, which runs at a blistering pace, sees you initially suspended from a helicopter and then dropped into the course from a great height. You'll encounter many bumps, jumps and loops along with banked turns and even gaps in the road that need to be jumped across. The on-board replay cameras do a great job in conveying the game's incredible speed and personally gets me revved up to play the game.
Take a look at the trailer below.
The developer, Nadeo, also demonstrated the game's random track generator. This will of course mean that no two experiences will ever be the same, this offers players a fresh challenge every time which should provide the game with decent longevity.
A reworked Trackmania Turbo was a very pleasant surprise and its a game that looks like incredible fun. I've been personally waiting for an F-Zero-esque game with four wheels for a while now and I believe this could satisfy my needs quite nicely indeed. Trackmania Turbo will release on November 27 this year for the Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms. We'll keep an eye on this fantastic little racer and keep you updated as soon as we know more.
