Gran Turismo Sport‘s latest update has now gone live bringing with it the addition of the historic Goodwood Motor Circuit as well as a smattering of other goodies.

Unlike the usual updates for Gran Turismo Sport, May’s update does not include any cars. Fortunately, the addition of a new track in its place is a very welcome change.

The Goodwood Motor Circuit features just seven turns, an elevation change of ten metres and boasts a 514 metre straight with a total length of 3,809 metres.

The Goodwood Circuit is a historic venue for two and four-wheeled motorsport in the UK. The track dates back to 1948, and shouldn’t be confused with the separate Hillclimb course which made its Gran Turismo debut in the sixth title on the PlayStation 3.

You can view the Goodwood Motor Circuit in all its glory below.

Elsewhere, the new update will bring a total of 11 new rounds to the GT League as listed below.

■ Beginner League
2 additional rounds will be added to the ‘MINI Challenge’.

■ Amateur League
2 additional rounds will be added to the ‘Nostalgic Car Festival’.
2 additional rounds will be added to the ‘Supra Legend’.
2 additional rounds will be added to the ‘Super Formula Championships’.

■ Professional League
2 additional rounds will be added to the ‘F1500 Championship’.

■ Endurance League
1 additional round will be added to the ‘Porsche Cup’.

Finally,  ‘Editor’s Choice II’ will be added to the special featured section of the Scapes mode. Developer Polyphony has also included the usual array of small improvements and fixes in this update.
