News Hillclimb Pack released for RaceRoom Racing Experience

RaceRoom Experience, aka R3E, has received a major new update, adding a number of fixes and features. A full list of changes can be found on SimBin's forum.

Chief new addition however is the release of the Hillclimb pack, allowing you to race round the custom RaceRoom Hillclimb course in a number of historic racecars.

And what a lineup it is. Predominately featuring BMWs, for me the main highlight is the BMW 635 CSi, one of the BMW's most iconic cars of the 1980's that's bewilderingly underrepresented in racing games. In addition, the Hillclimb pack includes the BMW M1 Procar, BMW 320 Turbo, BMW M3 E30 Gr.A and Carlsson SLK 340 JUDD.

For added authenticity, 13 liveries used by hillclimbing legends have also been included, from Giovanni Rossi’s #13 BMW M1 Procar and Claude-François Jeanneret’s #96 BMW 320 Turbo, to Michel Pignard’s #52 BMW 635 CSI 

No games does car engine sounds better than RaceRoom, as the official trailer, captured with 100% in-game audio, highlights. It's rare to see a trailer not be overlayed with an ill-fitting soundtrack, instead letting the wonderful engine notes captivate you. Sometimes less is indeed often more.
