The top-down retro-inspired racer Mantis Burn Racing gets a new trailer ahead of Gamescom which gives us a quick look at some of the game’s environments, vehicles and the split screen multiplayer in action.
Developer VooFoo Studios have announced previously that Mantis Burn Racing will release for the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms at some point this year with no release date revealed just yet. It doesn’t look like we’ll have to wait long for release however as VooFoo have stated the game will launch “soon”.
The racer is currently on Steam Early Access and was updated last month to include a new track and event along with other features such as the fourth “Pro” tier in the Career Season mode.
Mantis Burn Racing will feature RPG-style progression, an extensive career mode, global leaderboards, 4-player local split-screen, online multiplayer for up to eight players, weekly challenges and more besides. We’ll keep you up to date on this fun looking racer as soon as we know more. For now check out the Gamescom trailer below.
