A traditional singleplayer campaign mode will be introduced to Gran Turismo Sport in a free update scheduled for release sometime in December 2017.

Heavily inspired by the 'GT Mode' setups in prior Gran Turismo games, the 'GT League' tasks players with completing an array of singleplayer races – with more events set to be added to the setup throughout 2018.

In true Gran Turismo career mode fashion, Gran Turismo Sport's GT League will consist of a myriad cup championships, spread out across four different difficulty 'leagues'. Endurance races will also be included in the GT League campaign, though it's currently unknown how many will be featured, or how long these events will last for.

In addition to the GT League career mode, the December update for Gran Turismo Sport will also introduce the following 12 cars to the PS4-exclusive racing game for free:

  • Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible (C3)
  • Chris Holstrom Concepts 1967 Chevrolet Nova
  • Ferrari Enzo
  • Ferrari F40
  • Ford F-150 SVT Raptor
  • KTM X-Bow R
  • Lamborghini Countach LP400
  • Mazda RX-7 Spirit R Type A (FD)
  • Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec II (R32)
  • Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec II Nur (R34)
  • Suzuki Swift Sport
  • Volkswagen Samba Bus Type 2

More details on the update and its eventual release date are expected to be made after the v1.06 update for Gran Turismo Sport is made available to download and install on 27th November 2017.
