Enjoy Up Games have announced Grand Prix Rock´N Racing for Xbox One, a follow-up to Rock N’ Racing Off-Road DX released last year on Wii U and Xbox One to lukewarm reviews.
Grand Prix Rock´N Racing will be an old-school-style grand prix racer played in an isometric viewpoint in the same vein as Enjoy Up Games’ last game Rock N’ Racing Off-Road, which was a throwback to the arcade classic Super Off Road which was later ported to the NES and SNES at the time. Races will take place against 20 AI opponents or online multiplayer with up to four players.
An upgrade system will play a big part in Grand Prix Rock´N Racing, letting you upgrade parts including the car’s engine, tires, brakes, and more as you compete in championships and rise the online leaderboards.
As the title suggests, plenty of rock n’ roll music will accompany your driving to give that retro arcade vibe.
No video footage has been released for Grand Prix Rock´N Racing yet. In fact the only media released so far is the game’s artwork and one sample screenshot which you can view in the gallery below.
Grand Prix Rock´N Racing doesn’t have a release date either yet, but it will be speeding onto Xbox One “soon.”
