Polyphony has today released their very latest patch for Gran Turismo Sport which includes new features and some tasty new cars.
Patch 1.06 will allow players access to the Livery Editor, Scapes and Campaign modes even when offline. While this sounds great, it is worth mentioning that you will need an internet connection should you wish to save your progress.
Elsewhere, the update gifts players the ISO Rivolta Zagato Vision GT, Audi R18 and the rather delicious Shelby Cobra 427 absolutely free. The patch also includes a number of tweaks to the physics model and adjustments to balance the gameplay. These include changes to the Sportsmanship Rating algorithm and difficulty levels for the Driving School and Mission Challenges.
Next month will see the release of a major free update for Gran Turismo Sport which includes the addition of the "GT League" mode. This is said to be heavily inspired by the "GT Mode" in previous Gran Turismo entries. The new mode consists of favourites such as the Sunday Cup and FF challenge that we've all come to know and love over the years. New events are scheduled to be added periodically throughout 2018 too, so there shouldn't be a shortage of content for those who prefer the more familiar offline Gran Turismo experience.
That's not all though, the December update will also introduce the following 12 cars absolutely free.
- Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible (C3)
- Chris Holstrom Concepts 1967 Chevrolet Nova
- Ferrari Enzo
- Ferrari F40
- Ford F-150 SVT Raptor
- KTM X-Bow R
- Lamborghini Countach LP400
- Mazda RX-7 Spirit R Type A (FD)
- Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec II (R32)
- Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec II Nur (R34)
