Gran Turismo Sport has just received its latest large update – yes, that’s two major updates this month.

Today’s update introduces the much-anticipated Dallara SF19 Super Formula cars which come in Honda and Toyota engine options.

The Dallara SF19 racing cars feature an “Overtake System” which temporarily boosts engine power to help with overtaking which should make for some interesting racing.

Elsewhere, three classic cars also see their introduction in today’s update, arguably the highlight being the gorgeous Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta passo corto from 1961. You can view all the freshly added classic cars below.

  • Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary ’88 (N500)
  • Lancia Stratos ’73 (N200)

The GT League campaign will also see expansion as has been the case with every recent update. Today’s update adds the Super Formula Championship to the Amateur League along with several events seen listed below.

■ Beginner League
2 new rounds added to the ‘FF Challenge’.
2 new rounds added to the ‘MINI Challenge’.

■ Amateur League
2 new rounds added to the ‘Nostalgic Car Festival’.

■ Professional League

2 new rounds added to the ‘La Festa Cavallino’.
2 new rounds added to the ‘Lamborghini Cup’.

■ Endurance League

1 new round added to the ‘Gr.1 Prototype Endurance Series’.

Finally, the Scapes mode benefits from a “Cherry Blossoms – Heralds of Spring” section, “Super Formula” has been added to the ever-growing Museum, and “Autopolis” has been added to the Circuit Experience mode.
