News Gran Turismo Sport holds onto 3rd spot in UK charts

Sales for Gran Turismo Sport remain strong with the title holding onto third place in the very latest all-format UK sales charts courtesy of Chart Track.
The recent announcement that Gran Turismo Sport will be undergoing a huge update this month, which will introduce a single-player campaign mode inspired by earlier titles, could well have helped with these strong sales.
The racing genre is well represented this week with no less than three console exclusive titles featuring in the top ten. Forza Motorsport 7 ironically currently holds seventh place, whilst Nintendo's excellent Mario Kart 8 Deluxe sits one place lower in eighth.
Elsewhere in the racing genre, the stunning Forza Horizon 3 resides in twentieth place after dropping 8 places since last week, and the addictive car-football title Rocket League takes up thirty-seventh spot. You can view this week's all-format games chart here.
