Polyphony have just released their free 1.19 update for Gran Turismo 6 which sees the inclusion of two new cars – the Peugeot Vision GT and the Nissan GT-R LM Nismo.
The Peugeot Vision GT car was officially revealed about three weeks ago. The car is powered by a 3.2 litre V6 turbo charged engine that is capable of a 0-62 mph time in an incredible 1.73 seconds. The car's power is transmitted to all four wheels through a six-speed manual transmission.
The Peugeot comes with 22 inch alloys at the front and 23's at the back and stands just 104cm from the ground. With power coming in at 875 bhp and weighing just 875 kg it has a perfect 1:1 power to weight ratio making it quicker than a Formula 1 car. You can purchase the car in-game or alternatively it is possible to obtain the car by completing a lap (regardless of your speed) in the new Seasonal Event which is only available for a limited time.
The Nissan GT-R LM Nismo arrives just in time for the fourth and final online round of the 2015 GT academy competition due to start tomorrow. The GT-R Nismo is, amazingly, a front-engined, front-wheel drive LMP1 racing car making it very unique indeed.
Another addition in the 1.19 update is the newly added sound effects for the active wing or airbrake system on some of the Vision Gran Turismo cars.
