News Grab Project CARS 2 free today on Xbox One via Games with Gold

Today marks the first day of April 2020 and with it brings about the very latest offerings from Microsoft’s Games with Gold promotion. This month’s titles just happens to include a certain racing game called Project CARS 2, you may have heard of it.
You can grab the highly rated racer from today, April 1, and you have until April 30 so make sure you add it to your gaming collection rapidly (assuming you don’t already have it which you should really).
Project CARS 2 is a behemoth of a package with amazing weather effects and an incredible roster of tracks. Add to that a wealth of racing disciplines, generally decent driving physics and a comprehensive career mode and you have one of the easiest racing games to recommend this generation.
That’s not the only racing title that Microsoft is giving away this month either. Between April 16-30 you can also pick up miniature racer Toybox Turbos. Developed by Codemasters, Toybox Turbos released across PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC in late 2014 at a budget price.
We reviewed the title back then and enjoyed its engrossing gameplay and slick visuals, however, we felt its repetitive multiplayer and highly frustrating AI difficulty in later levels took some of the sheen off the otherwise solid arcade racer.
