Milky Tea Studios and Wales Interactive have today announced that their wacky PC kart racer Coffin Dodgers will be racing onto the Playstation 4 and Xbox One consoles in Q1, 2016.
Coffin Dodgers takes place on the “mean streets” of a retirement home. You are tasked with saving one of the seven retirees on your souped up mobility scooter of all things and doing battle against the grim reaper and his army of zombies. Check out some zany action below.
Jon Holmes, founder and managing director of Milky Tea, says the current gen consoles are the perfect fit for Coffin Dodgers: “We feel that its natural home is on console and is why we have been searching for the right partner who is passionate about this game as much as we are. We are lucky to have found such a talented team as Wales Interactive to collaborate on this project and think they will only help us make this game better and better.”
Coffin Dodgers features 13 race tracks and seven quirky retirement village resident characters to choose from. The game has the usual single player story and time trial modes and includes both online and local multiplayer modes too. Coffin Dodgers seems like an interesting mix of Mario Kart and Wacky Racers and we'll be sure to keep an eye out on the racer.
