Forza Motorsport 7’s IndyCar content has been fleshed out a bit, thanks to the launch of a new free car pack.
Arguably the highlights of the new content are the four, 2019-spec Dallara IR18 racing car, which will complement the 2017 season Dallara DW12s that are already in the game.
Like the DW12s depicted in Forza Motorsport 5, the IR18 quartet are available with two aero specs: a more downforce-focused road course package, and a pared-back speedway kit used for oval racing.
Fans of classic Indy racing will likely be smitten with the Ford-Brawner Hawk III. As its commemorative livery shows, the car is also a notable piece of Indy 500 history: in 1969, the legendary driver Mario Andretti won the famous race while piloting a Ford-Brawner Hawk III.
Rounding off the free content is the latest version of the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 performance car. Befitting the IndyCar connection, the ZR1 is also available in an Indy 500-esque pace car spec, rather than its factory-fresh form in Forza Horizon 4.
Forza Motorsport 7’s IndyCar DLC has been released in tandem with the game’s May 2019 content update, which perhaps most notably adds highly requested multiplayer features such as ghosting lapped cars.
