The first details on Forza Motorsport 7's launch day DLC have been disclosed by developer Turn 10 Studios.
Following in the trend of prior Forza games, Forza Motorsport 7 will have an array of DLC available to acquire when the game officially goes on sale on 3rd October 2017.
For example, Forza Motorsport 7 users who purchase the standard edition of Forza Motorsport 7 will have the option of buying the franchise-standard VIP Pass and Car Pass from launch day – or have them included in either the 'Deluxe Edition' (VIP Pass) or 'Ultimate Edition' (VIP Pass and Car Pass).
No details on pricing were disclosed, though rough outlines of their contents were disclosed. The Car Pass, for instance, will include the first six of Forza Motorsport 7's monthly post-launch car pack DLCs. On the other hand, the VIP Pass endows owners with access to a set of exclusive cars, racing gear items for the player's in-game avatar and Mod perks – thus confirming the Mods system that debuted in Forza Motorsport 6 will be featured in some capacity in Forza Motorsport 7.
On top of those pieces of DLC, it was also confirmed a Day One Car Pack and a Bonus Content Pack will be included in the 'Deluxe Edition' and 'Ultimate Edition' bundles for Forza Motorsport 7. It's still uknown what will be included in these content packages, though prior Day One Car Packs for Forza games suggests this one for Forza Motorsport 7 will contain a limited line-up of vehicles that have been modified to the top of their respective Performance Index classes.
More specific details on what is contained in these various DLC offerings will be made public in the weeks and months building up to Forza Motorsport 7's launch.
