We pit Forza Motorsport 6 up against Project CARS and compare the very different handling models in each.
Both titles are running on the Xbox One console and we have virtually the same car running on the Brands Hatch track in each. We switch the audio from one game to the next too so you can compare the sounds also.
Alan is using a controller for this comparison and it becomes apparent early on that the handling model in Forza Motorsport 6 is very sensitive which sends Alan sideways very easily on a number of occasions. There was a definite gap between the grip levels in Forza Motorsport 6 and Project CARS, the latter having much more available hence the faster lap times.
This doesn't of course mean that one is better than the other, each game has its own handling model and feel and you need to approach each game differently. The more hardcore racers may find Forza Motorsport 6's lack of grip frustrating while others may find it challenging and fun.
