A new Porsche expansion is being released for Forza Motorsport 6 this March according to a listing on Amazon.com. This marks the first time Porsche has featured in a Forza Motorsport game since Forza Motorsport 4 back in 2011.
Retailing for $20, the Amazon listing reveals that the Forza Motorsport 6 Porsche Expansion will be released on March 1st 2016 and will contain 20 ForzaVista Porsches, new career events, a new track and plenty more.
Furthermore, the listing reveals that nine out of the 20 cars will be new to Xbox One, so there will be plenty of cars that didn't feature in the Forza Horizon 2 Porsche Expansion released last year, which had half the number of cars in the Forza Motorsport 6 equivilant.
As for the new track, Virginia International Raceway will be making its Forza Motorsport debut in the Porsche Expansion. The classic American circuit will be available in seven distinct ribbons with night and wet weather configurations available. It's unclear whether the track will only be available exclusively with the Porsche Expansion or as a separate download, however.
Rounding off the expansion are new Porsche-themed multiplayer Leagues, Hoppers, and Rivals events, plus Porsche-exclusive Mods and Badges and 250 Gamerscore worth of Xbox Live achievements.
There hasn't been any official word from Turn10 on the Forza Motorsport 6 Porsche Expansion yet, but expect an announcement shortly.
Forza fans will know this isn't the first time Porsche has made its way into the series. Along with last year's Porsche Expansion for Forza Horizon 2, Forza Motorsport 4 started the trend of Porsche Expansions, which was significant at the time as it was the first time the manufacturer had featured in a game outside Need for Speed in many years.
