News Forza Motorsport 5 surpasses one million online players

The Xbox One may have had a lukewarm reception and a relatively limited install base, but this hasn't stopped Forza Motorsport 5 from being another success story for Turn10 – a piont proven by recent figures confirming that the online community has surpassed over one million players. Quite an achievement for a game that's only been out for six weeks on a newly-launched console. 

Then again, this doesn't necessarily directly translate to sales figures. After all, multiple gamertags on the same console can be used to play the same game. 

Still, it's an impressive feat when you factor in the fact that, at the time of writing, the Xbox One has sold around 2.5 million units. The fact that over one million players out of this relatively small install base are playing Forza 5 is an impressive feat indeed, reinforcing Forza's stance as a system seller.
