Not contempt with having just one of the world's most high-profile supercars – the McLaren P1 – in the game, Microsoft has also confirmed it has currently exclusive rights to use the Macca's arch rival from Maranello in Forza Motorsport 5.

To help celebrate the oddly named LaFerrari's inclusion in the Xbox One launch game (bar having an entire DLC car pack named after the most advanced Ferrari road car to date), a new trailer has been released, featuring to-camera pieces from Microsoft Studios' Phil Spencer and Ferrari's design director Flavio Manzoni on the high-tech supercar's role in the equally technically impressive Forza game.

The trailer also briefly mentions a new partnership between Ferrari and the Forza Motorsport brand, hinting that there may be more Ferrari-related content in the pipelines for the current Forza game, and perhaps in any other titles in the franchise that are still in the development stage.

It's worth pointing out, though, that it doesn't appear the LaFerrari won't be exclusive to the Forza franchise, as was the case for a while with the Pagani Huayra in Need for Speed 2: Unleashed a few years ago – a disclaimer at the end of the trailer states the car is "exclusive for a limited time", which should please those who'd like to see the current Ferrari halo car in a racing game other than Forza Motorsport 5.
