Turn 10 has announced the first details of the season pass for Forza Motorsport 5, highlighting how cost effective it is for the DLC-purchasing Xbox gamer.
Appropriately dubbed the 'Car Pass', the main benefit of purchasing this optional item is to recieve all the DLC car packs at a discounted rate when compared with buying all the bundles individually.
No details were mentioned regarding the pricing of either the Car Pass or the DLC car packs, but Turn 10 has confirmed that there will be six batches of ten downloadable-only cars for Forza Motorsport 5, all released monthly. The Car Pass also can't be used in conjunction with any expansion packs that may or may not be in the pipelines for the new Forza game.
At least the DLC cars won't just be items that'll magically appear in your in-game garage – as with all the cars that'll be stamped on every disc copy of Forza Motorsport 5, all of the autos added to the game post-launch can be viewed in all their virtual glory in the title's ForzaVista mode. The official press material relating to this announcement also confirmed there'll be a "very special inclusion" in the first FM5 automotive add-on pack, so that's something us here at Team VVV will be keeping a closer eye on…
With Forza Motorsport 5's November 22nd release date looming on the horizon – and the series' association with oodles of DLC announcement and releases – we expect to hear quite a lot more about the Xbox One's debut racing game very soon, so do keep checking back to the Team VVV site for the latest news and announcements.
